David Spady
A seasoned media veteran, Spady has appeared on CNN, FOX News, and ABC, and his commentary has been published in The Wall Street Journal and the Los Angeles Times. He has produced two documentary films and earned a Telly Award for campaign advertising.
For the past 17 years at Salem Media Group, Spady has led large-scale content development—guiding national program launches, elevating talent, and improving production quality across 50+ talk shows. He helped spearhead Salem’s early digital news and opinion initiatives, drawing on formative experience with HBO, A&E, and IMAX.
On Capitol Hill, Spady is a trusted advocate for the broadcast industry—defending free speech and pushing back on regulatory overreach. His political résumé includes nearly a decade as a consultant managing state and federal campaigns and advising the Tennessee Republican Party. Over time, he has cultivated a broad network of relationships with elected leaders, major donors, and conservative organizations.
Spady is also a dedicated veterans’ advocate. His commitment is personal—highlighted by a pilgrimage to Normandy for the 70th D-Day Anniversary, where he spent time with WWII veterans who helped liberate Europe. That experience informs his ongoing support for projects that honor service and preserve living history.
He is a member of the Council for National Policy and serves on several advisory boards, including the Montana State University Alumni Association.
