Walkway to Victory

Normandy Memorial Bricks Program

Freedom Walk Memorial Bricks
A lasting and meaningful tribute to honor those who served in the liberation of France and other nations during World War II in both the European and Pacific Theaters.

Our Mission to Honor Heroes

The Airborne Museum’s Freedom Walk Memorial Brick Program provides a unique opportunity to honor and remember the veterans of World War II. This memorial offers a permanent expression of gratitude for their service and sacrifice. Veterans from all branches of the United States Armed Forces and allied nations—including France, Britain, and Canada—are commemorated.

The Freedom Walk Memorial is located at The Airborne Museum in Sainte-Mère-Église, France. It stands as a tribute to the men and women who served in the Armed Forces of the United States and its allies. This sacred space invites grateful citizens to recognize and honor those who served, no matter their origin or place of residence. Veterans and their families may also choose to commemorate their personal service, contributing to the mission of remembrance—lest we forget.

Recognition is extended to all, including the Merchant Marines.
