Doug Stebleton is a seasoned entertainment industry professional with a career spanning over three decades. Beginning in music publishing for film and television in 1987, he transitioned into film production in 2005 with a focus on historical and veteran-centered storytelling.

Doug is an accomplished documentary filmmaker whose body of work includes 10 films — most notably Mother of Normandy, Heroes of WWII: The European Campaign, and Reagan at Normandy. His projects reflect a deep commitment to preserving the legacy of American service members.

For nearly 30 years, Doug has traveled extensively to Normandy for D-Day commemorations and other historical events, forging meaningful relationships with WWII veterans, their families, and international organizations committed to honoring their service.

He has served for over 15 years as a board member of Operation Democracy and has collaborated with numerous veteran-focused organizations, including the American Legion and the American Veterans Association (AVA) in Normandy, France. Doug has also played a long-standing role in supporting initiatives with the Airborne Museum in Sainte-Mère-Église.

Now, through the WWII Heroes Foundation, Doug continues his mission to elevate untold stories of courage and service—creating projects that educate, inspire, and ensure these heroic legacies endure for generations to come.
